Rotary Club awards $45K to nonprofits
The Rotary Club of Summerville recently awarded Community Service Grants totaling $45,000 to 16 local nonprofit organizations. Those organizations receiving grants were Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center, Beacon’s Mentoring, Hunter’s Helping Hands, Timrod Library, Keys to Change, Beyond Basic Life Skills, Dorchester County Habitat for Humanity, ARK of South Carolina, The Boon Project, Expanding the Table, HELP of Summerville, Meals on Wheels of Summerville, Dorchester Heritage Center, Home Again of the Lowcountry, Katie’s Krops and Shelter Box USA, a Rotary International supported nonprofit.
