About Our Golf Tournament
The Troy Knight Memorial Golf Tournament is an annual event benefiting Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center. Named after Mr. Troy Knight, this event is held each year in his memory, with proceeds directly benefiting our clinical services program.
Troy was a close friend, a dedicated member of the community, and an early supporter of Children in Crisis. Troy served as city attorney for the Town of Summerville and was a Dorchester County Magistrate from 1993-2003. He also served as a Summerville Municipal Judge from 1996-1998. Then in 2002, Troy founded the Knight Law Firm in Summerville, after having practiced law in other firms for 10 years. He built the firm’s value system upon his deep dedication to the law, his strong commitment to community service, and on the solid foundation of his family’s legacy.

- Proper golf attire is required
- Lunch is provided to all golfers prior to play
- Assorted beverages and light snacks are provided during play with beverage carts on the course
- Dinner is provided to all golfers following play
