MDT Case Coordination
KPCAC coordinates a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) of professionals from county agencies to work together in the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Together these professionals conduct collaborative and coordinated investigations that prioritize the child’s safety, wellbeing and resilience. At our center, we host meetings to review cases during which all team members discuss the best interests of the child and family and to form a collaborative plan to help the child move forward.
Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center hosts an annual conference on child abuse and neglect as a free specialized training to team members relevant to this line of work. Please continue to check back here for updates.
