Welcome to the Kay Phillips
Child Advocacy Center
As a nationally accredited Children’s Advocacy Center, our main goal is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. This is why we offer child-focused, evidence-based programs, which work closely with representatives from many other disciplines to effectively investigate, prosecute, and treat child abuse. At Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center, whether a child visits our center once for their initial forensic interview, or they visit us weekly for therapy services, one thing remains true – they will NEVER receive a bill for services that are provided. This means that cost never gets in the way of a child’s path toward hope, healing, and empowerment.

Resources
The CAC Model
The primary goal of all children’s advocacy centers (CACs) accredited by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them.
Treatment Services
We offer evidence-based, trauma-focused mental health services. Our therapists provide a safe, warm, space for children who have experienced trauma to talk about what happened to them, and to process their thoughts and feelings.
Prevention Trainings
A key component to preventing and responding to child abuse and neglect is education. We offer multiple training opportunities for the community, and provide the tools necessary to have adequate preparedness should a situation arise.
